This is an unofficial, non-commercial fan tribute made to teach computing. It is not made, endorsed or sponsored by id Software, Apogee / 3D Realms, or the makers of Commander Keen. It uses none of their code, art, sound or levels; everything here is original and drawn in code.

Trademarks

Intel, AMD, Arm, Nvidia, Microsoft, Windows, Google, Android, Linux, Apple and macOS, and every other product or company name, are trademarks or registered trademarks of their respective owners. They appear only as plain names to describe real products. No logos are used, the colours are only loosely inspired by brands, and the characters' perks are made up for gameplay. Nothing here implies any partnership or endorsement.

Educational content

• Descriptions of hardware, software, operating systems and malware are simplified for teaching and may be incomplete, dated or imprecise. Check official sources before relying on them.
• The malware shown are historical or generic examples, represented only by cartoon sprites. The game contains and runs no malicious code.
• The commands and tips are shown for learning, not as security advice for your systems. Test commands in a safe environment first.
